General Manager (m/f/d) – Industrial Manufacturing

Our client is a dynamic, owner-managed international group and a global market leader in the production of high-end nonwoven fabrics.

With approximately 150 employees at its U.S. subsidiary, the company operates its own manufacturing and sales organization and is experiencing rapid growth. A key differentiator is its unique production process, which eliminates the use of synthetic adhesives or binders—resulting in superior absorbency and high-performance products.

Applications span across industries such as food processing (meat, fish), hygiene (bed pads), and specialized industrial solutions (e.g., oil absorbents).

Your Responsibilities
In this executive leadership role, you will take full responsibility for the strategic and operational development of the entity:

• Drive strategic initiatives and ensure sustainable business growth
• Optimize all resources, processes, and organizational structures
• Lead and develop teams across production, sales, administration, and finance
• Improve overall business performance and refine KPI systems
• Increase productivity, quality, and operational efficiency
• Represent the company in key customer engagements
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
• Collaborate closely with the international group leadership 

We are looking for a hands-on, entrepreneurial leader with a strong industrial background:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field
• Proven leadership experience in executive management, plant management, or operations leadership
• Strong background in manufacturing and production environments
• Experience managing and developing production teams
• Solid understanding of process industries or serial manufacturing
• Customer-oriented mindset with experience in client interactions
• Hands-on mentality, strong leadership presence, and ability to lead by example
